New patent application - Diagnosis of cancers through glycome analysis - 08/09/2009

The company is proud to announce that preliminary results have recently indicated differences between the blood serum (blood tests) of patients with various types of cancers and that of healthy individuals, based upon the analysis of different glyco epitopes in serum proteins.

In light of these encouraging results, the company has decided to expand and accelerate its research activities in the cancer-related glycodiagnostics field. In addition, based on these results, the company has today submitted an application for a new patent in the field of glycodiagnostics for various forms of cancer to the United States registrar of patents.
